Liver cleansing foods play an extremely important role in our diet. These foods, while important in helping cure many liver problems that may occur, will go a long ways in preventing liver damaged from happening in the first place. Our liver is a real workhorse. The largest of our internal organs, the liver removes toxins from our system, allowing them to be eliminated before they can do harm. Although we may be more concerned about how our heart, kidneys, or stomach are performing, we should be giving every bit as much consideration about what our liver is doing. While turmeric is strongly recommended in any liver cleansing procedure, it should be noted that turmeric does not go well with certain medications, especially blood-thinning medications, and should be used with caution by those having heart problems or suffering from heart disease.
